Portraiture is a challenging and rewarding field. I find people to be endlessly fascinating art subjects. Watercolor and pastel are the media that I choose to work in because these allow me to express my thoughts most directly and effectively.

About the Artist

Patricia graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1984 with a BFA degree in Visual Communications. After working several years for advertising agencies around the Chicago area, Patricia left the field of commercial art to raise a family. During this time she concentrated on her personal art vision and developed her portrait work. Her clientele has grown from family and friends, to neighbors and fellow parishoners, to include a large part of the Chicago north suburban area. In 1993 and 1995 she was selected to show her work in Recent Works, a juried show for Lake County artists at the Robert T. Wright Gallery of Art. She is a member of the Lake County Art League and the Portrait Society of America.
