I decided to include a view of the cross as you would see it from the inside of the church through the arched windows. This was an inspiring view during Sunday worship. The watercolor was finished and hung in the early spring of 2011. A farewell from me to the school and church that had been our second home for the many years that we lived in Wadsworth, Illinois. In August, 2011 I relocated with my family to Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Submitted by patricia on Sat, 01/28/2012 In 2010, our local school, Saint Patricks, finished construction on a new entryway. This provided the school with better access and security, along with a small vestibule area. The Principal, Ms. Bosnack, comissioned me to provide artwork for the vestibule wall, which is visible from outside of the building through the large windows. She wanted a verse and the only other requirement was to include a visual of the cross that stands outside of Saint Patrick church.
