November Plein air

Submitted by patricia on Mon, 11/04/2013 - 12:19 Now that the weather is getting brisk, it is harder to complete a painting out of doors. I am working on a scene from the Matthei botanical gardens. I took several photos on the day, which was windy and the clouds were covering the sun every few minutes. This is partially done, but I am finishing it in the studio and so it is taking me longer to complete.
